Internationally, the Sustainable Housing, which is physically strengthened durability and functionally not outdated, became the main aim of development in architecture for the global environment conservation. It is valuable to design and construct houses for maintaining national wealth by producing housing stocks acquiring high quality. The demolition and construction pattern of resdential houses causes some problems like the waste of energy and the construction waste, insufficient recycling of construction materials, and pollution of environment because of their short service-duration less than 20 years in Korea and China.Furthermore, the prevailing design patterns and monotonous bearing wall system in apartment houses make some troubles like difficulties in coping with various and ceaselessly changing life styles of occupants, lower feasibility to remodel the space in Rahmen structure. In these circumstances, through case-study, the overall building qualities are emphasized like the high sustainability(long life) for preserving the natural environment, the flexibility for the various living patterns, needs, and their changes, the feasibility of remodeling ability for preparing physical deterioration and functional obsolescence, and their changes. In this study, design elements for long-life housing, together with development of interior components and it's construction method, will be determined in relation to the field of structure, environment, utility.
