The Design And Realization Of Air Traffic Situation Display System Based On MapX

In recent years,with the booming development of civil air transportation,the amount of flights is mounting tremendously. Under the circumstances, air traffic flow congestion occurs in many control areas, making flow management harder.To solve the problem,a great deal of decision making tools for air flow management have been developed in Europeon and USA. Through these tools, the effency of air flow management have been greatly improved. TSD is the window of them. By using TSD air traffic controller can grasp more information of air traffic situation, explore their work quickly and improve the effency of air traffic flow management.This article take the example of MapX to apply Geographical Information System (GIS) into air traffic management to this problem, relatively analyses three kinds of development methods of the geography information system. Combining flow management system, the article brings forward the whole development blue print of the air traffic situation display system. On above-mentioned research, it introduces the analysis and design of the system, realizes the air traffic situation display system integrating layer control, meteorological information display, aeronautical information display, traffic situation display, complex query and system maintenance. Within the process of the system development, it discusses the key techniques, such as The Realization of Hawkeye electronic map, The Realization of theme map, dynamic display of flying track the secondary development of the integral function based on MapX.
