| People pay more attention to the tail gas pollution and fuel waste caused by oil engine of auto industry and aviation industry in recent years. The way to change this present condition is to improve the structure design of engine and raising burning efficiency of fuel. Many parameters of engine should be tested and analyzed in the process of improvement. Measurement of temperature of tail gas and the concentration of CO2, CO and HC is an important part.In this paper, temperature of tail gas and concentration of the components are further analyzed. And then the scheme of constructing parameter-testing system for engine is put forward based on infrared technique and ARM. With the sufficient demonstration of the test principle and methods, the infrared sensor for temperature and density detection is designed. The ARM hardware platform centralize on S3C44B0 is development. It consists of AD conversion module, LCD display module and serial port communication module. With the making of PCB and debugging completed, boot code of the system and the application program are compiled in ADS1.2 for ARM. And then the debugging of the whole system is accomplished based on the hardware circuit. Finally, calibration experiments are done in the laboratory.Compared with the traditional sensors, the infrared sensor for temperature and density detection designed in this paper is characterized by rapid respond speed and good adapting for adverse circumstance. With the ARM embedded processor, this system has advantages of good real-time performance, offline operation and portability. Besides the detection of engine tail gas, it can be extended to the dangerous gas detection in chemical industry, power industry and mine industry. |
