The demand of domestic information industry stimulates the development of economical industry. China has become an important production base for electronic products, and also is gradually becoming an giant expense market for electronic products in the world. It becomes an objective demand to speed up the development of electronic component manufacturing industry. The electronic chip and liquid crystal have been the favorite for investors,and many new microelectronics workshops are being built one after another in our country.The production craft of microelectronics, such as chip, demands the production workshop to be a large room without obstacles. So, the scale of the width and the length of the workshop is usually large. In order to guarantee the qualified rate of product, the workshop needs to be a clean room, in which the cleanliness of air is strictly controlled. To control the cleanliness of the air in the workshop, of which the area is large, the clean air condition system is needed,and many holes are required to set in the slab of the workshop to provide wind channels. Moreover, the equipment for production is usually so heavy that the slab needs enough supporting capability and rigidity. So the slab of clean workshop is usually designed to be Waffle Slab.Waffle Slab usually has large width and length, as well as many holes in the slab. The construction of Waffle Slab involves not only installation of massive supporting structures and Waffle Pan, but also construction of ultra-length concrete structure. Until now, there is almost none elaboration about the construction of Waffle Slab. And then, further analysis and summarize the construction technology of Waffle Slab , have deeper academic research value as well as important project practical value.In this paper, the author makes systematical analysis and also does some researches on key problems about the construction of the open waffle slab. This main contents are as follows: (1) Build mathematical models for design and optimize the supporting structures to reduce the quantity of material under the condition that the structure is safe; (2)Analysis the relationship among term, number of construction districts and construction costs, and build mathematical model for the cost of supporting structures; (3) Describe the producing and construction method of different waffle pans, and compare the practical effects of different waffle pans. (4) Suppose kinds of construction method for the steel bars in the thin-web-girders of Waffle Slab, and compare the practical effects of these methods on the complexity in construction method and the construction quality control,according the character of the open waffle slab and the waffle pan.(5) Describe the design methods of seamless ultra-length concrete structure for Waffle Slab and similar structures, analysis the principle of the concrete construction methods and application conditions of these methods for seamless ultra-length concrete structure, and describe the post-pouring seam method ,the alternative bay method, and the strengthen bay method for seamless ultra-length concrete structure with practical project.
