It's a fundamental trend of energy-saving building development in the world, natural ventilation can lower indoor temperature without consume energy, get away humidity air and reduce building energy consumption. At the same time, to a greater extent for people with healthy and comfortable indoor environment, so researchers have been widespread concern in recent years. However, natural ventilation is affected by the local weather and other factors, it very difficult to ensure the reliability and stability. Natural ventilation design is still have not available laws and regulations, standards and of potential data of natural ventilation for different climatic zones. As a result, the application of natural ventilation is a topic which is needed to research.In this article, according the principle of wind pressure, hot pressing,wind and hot pressure and mechanical aids natural ventilation, analysis the health, thermal comfort and energy-saving fuction of the role of natural ventilation, then on the use of natural ventilation ways to set out the principle of improve indoor thermal environment by the role for natural ventilation. Depended on analyze the "China-specific meteorological data sets on analysis of the construction thermal environment", we can get the wind rose map all year and every month. After an analysis of relationship on the environmental variables and the thermal comfort, we get the initial region of Chongqing natural ventilation thermal comfort.In order to get the actual results on natural ventilation to improve indoor thermal environment in Chongqing, we use computer simulation and field test method in this paper. We do a four-point test, get the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed basis data in different states. Use the basis data and computer simulation on how to make better use of the layout of the building with natural ventilation to improve indoor thermal environment. Use the software to simulation different building to get the pressure, temperature, velocity field and PMV, PPD distribution in the different conditions. We can get some suitable measures in using natural ventilation to improve indoor thermal environment in Chongqing.Illustrating the evaluate parameters of of indoor thermal environment quality in this article, and use the PMV amend model and basised on the standard,area climate,measured and simulated resulte, to find temperature and humidity upper limits of an acceptable indoor thermal environment in different wind speed. Then do a brief analysis to the cceptable air temperature and humidity infulence by different speeds.According the questionnaire survey showed that residents concerned the natural ventilation problems on residential and have high hopes related on the design method.
