With the rapid development of freeway construction, the impact to ecological environment has been considered to be very important in recent years, and it is more and more significant to monitor the ecological impact caused by freeway construction. But the ecological monitoring programs about freeway construction are still lacking. Based on the middle section of Suizhou-Yueyang freeway construction, the purpose is to explore the scheme of the ecological monitoring of the plant impacted by the construction of the freeway. According to the monitoring, specific research results are as follows1. The procedure of the ecological monitoring scheme on the middle section of Suizhou-Yueyang freeway is:(1) The ecologic condition of the route should be investigated before and after the construction of the freeway, and it must determine the representative polluted monitored plots.(2) The monitoring of the TSP,soil and physiological index of plant is simultaneous.(3) Gather the plants sample and bring back to the lab to do the experiment .The purpose is to test the chemical and biological indicators of plants.(4) Screening indicators, the results have been affected and put forward measures to deal with.2. In the ecological influence monitoring of the plants, it should pay more attention to the following aspects when selecting the monitoring methods: the number and the types of the monitoring data should be statistical; it must carry out periodic and continuous monitoring; it should analyze the ecological effects comprehensively. The choice of methods in ecological monitoring can be field surveys, biometrics, biomarkers and other methods.The conventional methods may refer to environmental monitoring, monitoring of biological and ecological methods. 3. In the aspect of the plant physiological effects, it tests the parameters of plant photosynthesis, respiration rate, transpiration rate and other physiological ones, and also selects test equipment and technical methods to get the test results so as to verify if the technique can reflect changes in plant physiology.4. In the biochemical parameters of the plant, the initial identification of the plant chlorophyll, nitrate reductase, soluble protein, other biochemical parameters were measured, and choice of equipment and technical methods of plants in vitro experiments to obtain results so as toverify whether the methods reflect biological and chemical changes of plants.5. In the ecological parameters of the plant, measuring the plant biomass and computing the characteristics of community, the implementing on-site testing, using test results to verify whether the response of plant ecological impact reflects the changes of plants.6. Besides monitoring the plant physiologuy, biochemistry and ecological parameters of plants, ancillary monitor, which includes monitoring air pollution and soil monitoring, also conducted in the air pollution monitoring, it choises TSP monitoring, in monitoring of soil, it choises pH value of the soil, organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, and other indicators, using the test results to give acomprehensive description of air and soil pollution along the line.7. Summing up the procedures of the ecological monitoring of the plant along the freeway, and according to exploration of plant's ecological impact monitoring methods of the the middle section of Suizhou-Yueyang freeway, it finds out a scheme which can applicate the ecological monitoring for the plant along the route impacted by freeway construction.
