Along with the development of economy and the advancement of technology, intelligent building has become a sign of the times. It is causing widespread concern of the whole society. Intelligent Building is the core of system integration. Web-oriented system integration is the best way of so many intelligent building systems integration methods. The main problems of achieving Web-oriented system integration are unified, open standards for XML/Web Services. The emergence of the oBIX standards for Web-oriented Intelligent Building System Integration will bring new ideas. The research of this disseration mainly focuses on the oBIX of Intelligent Building System Integration. The study includes five issues: (1) oBIX architecture and principles; (2) Related technologies; (3) the expansion and safety of oBIX; (4) oBIX application model; (5) System integration implementation of the oBIX.The contributions of this thesis include: Analyzes the open standard oBIX which is based on XML and support Web Services; provides the oBIX application model; sends and analyzes SOAP message using JAXM programming; access the MySQL database through JDBC; on the J2EE, using Tomcat server, develops a simple Intelligent Building server. The server can provide the clients many inquiry services : system state, history and trends, alarm state point information. The result is that the server can integrate all building automation and control systems to enterprise information management system, and provide users with a unified Web-based monitoring and management interface. Users can control and manage the intelligent building subsystems through IE browser.Through the research of oBIX standard and designing and development of Intelligent Building server, Building Automation network can be better integrated to the information network. The results of research will offer a stronger management function of system service and more convenient control.
