Research On Landscape Planning And Design Of Urban Riverfront

Kundulun River is located in Kundulun District of Baotou in Inner Mongolia Atonymous Region.On the west bank of Kun River is the main industrial areas of Baotou Iron and Steel (Group) Company Ltd, on the east bank is urban residents living areas of Kundulun District.At present, the Kun River's planning of cross-strait sparse vegetation and ecological conditions are poor, which has seriously affected the urban landscape and people's living environment, urban construction and the ever-changing formation of a strong contrast.It has become very necessary to do comprehensive management to the Kun River and it has also become imminent for the Kun River's planning study.Using successful experience about landscape planning of urban riverfront at home and abroad as reference, starting with the status of waterfront Landscape, municipal Baotou Kundulun District of natural, historical, cultural, and other information was collected, the status of Kundulun River was analysed. Taking "Shaping city culture , creation the beauty of the landscape, looking for the natural ecology, poking the string of the city,sinking nature and man together, playing the music of deer city" for the guiding ideology, and taking "a unified deployment, the overall co-ordination, planning guide, nurture advantage of innovative features, ecological priority " for the guiding principle and the goal was set as "showing the image of the city's core stage, continuation of the historical context of the water space, experiencing city life and leisure venues, linking the natural landscape of green corridor to enhance the quality of the ecological environment carrier, to expand the city's space power engine ". the Landscape Planning of Kundulun River was located in five functions which was " ecological protection, sightseeing, culture and leisure, business office, residence life" to build a garden, two-axle, three-core, four-area, five- structure (that is, "a park" refers to Waterfront Park," two-axis" refers to the axis of construction and function of the Green axis, "three-center" refers to the business center, business center and office culture and entertainment centers, "four-area" refers to the source of life, grassland culture, wong grassland, grassland harmony of the four theme parks, "five-part" refers to the formation of regional planning a feature of the business district and four live Area). The land use, road transport, municipal infrastructure was for the planning were planted, and environmental, social and economic expected benefits was analysed , several issues was showed which need to pay attention to Landscape planning and design of urban riverfront.
