Door mechanism with the function of impact-open/close is one of important mechanisms in coal-train exporting to Australia. This door mechanism with the function of impact-open/close is laid in the bottom of coal train. When the train is full of coal, this mechanism can hold the door stably, and make sure the normal transportation without leaking. When the train is driven to the coal factory, the open lever of mechanism crash to the block fixed on the ground, then the door opens; after working, the train goes on forward, and the close lever crash to the block, then the door closes. The whole working process is auto, and increasing the efficiency of coal delivery remarkably.But we found this coal train is due to move in foul environment, after two years, the door mechanism under the fully loaded situation is happened to open automatically without impacting the block. Thanks to this situation, this paper is about the invalidation reason analysis of door mechanism and makes a dynamics simulation on computer through virtual prototyping, proposing the working solution.First, we use mechanical theory to analyze the invalidation reason of the door mechanism and basically confirm that there is abrasion between the middle axis and axis bush badly because to foul environment. By the method of picture, we can know about the force situation between every lever, and propose the Dead Zone, make sure the range of Dead Zone. And we found the reason that abrasion produces the space between axis and axis bush and the space changes the dead center position of hinge-four-lever. Due to the vibration of coal-train moving, the door mechanism breaks up the area of dead center and the door opens up. Second, we use I-DEAS software to set up 3D model. During the modeling course, we predigest the tiny character that can increase calculation time and not affect the solving precision. We are in use of IGES format as the standard between CAD and CAE information. Then we take 3D model into ADAMS software and set up dynamics model. During this course, we use space impacting theory to set up space model between axis and axis bush. And last, we research on the kinematics and dynamics simulation about door mechanism, calculating the contact between the axis and axis bush, and building up the pictures of observation point (the joint point between the lever and the middle lever) of displacement. The results of computer simulation can test the theory results. Through the research of this door mechanism, we can supply the data for further analysis after all. |
