The main study contents of this thesis is about the control performance of hydraulic motor. PID control strategy and fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy for proportional variable pump control hydraulic motor system in this thesis. Simulation of PID control strategy and fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy has been done. A scheme of the CAT of the proportional variable pump control hydraulic motor system is designed which is used in practical application.Firstly, the significance and present situation of the study on proportional variable pump control hydraulic motor system was expounds. It is found by analysis that proportional variable pump control hydraulic motor system is a excellent control strategy. Further study on pump control hydraulic motor system has been done in this thesis.In chapter 2, hydraulic principle of proportional variable pump control hydraulic motor system was put forward. The mathematical model of pump control hydraulic motor system was established. And the mathematical model was studyed preliminarily.In chapter 3, we can get the conclusion that the dynamic performance of pump control motor system is poor. PID control strategy and fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy were put forward to improve the performance of the system.In chapter 4, simulation model of pump control motor system is established in Matlab. The dynamic characteristic simulation is done in different condition. The simulation results shows that the dynamic performance of the system is better with PID control strategy and fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy. But fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy is better than PID control strategy to actual situation.Finally, experimental study methods is briefly introduced. The scheme of the CAT system which is used in practical application was analyzed.The controlling problems of hydraulic motor are solved in theoretically. The research results of this theme has reference value for design and application of hydraulic motor.
