The basic construction in our country is developing quickly now. Like the construction of cities and towns,rebuilding of farmland and irrigation conservancy. Compact hydraulic excavators are agile,safe and efficiency.It is fit for much kinds of the work .so its market expands quickly.more and more domestic enterprises recongnize it and produce excavators duplicating overseas products, seldom developing independently. So it's important for us to study the LG670 Compact hydraulic excavator in our country。Further for the traditional machine design, we only care about the static design of the frame. We use analogy or recur to experience design to decide the load of structure. This kind of cursory calculation and analyse makes the machine so ponderosity and not hard enough, and also the structure will be intervened. We improve it only afer we have used it and problems have occured. In this case, we not only waste our money and material, but also reduce our working efficiency. Now with the rapid development of computer, finite element analysis of mechanical has been used widely. Some software of mechanical systems also develop quickly and are used in mechanical design. This provide an more powerful way to design the machine。In this paper we combine the traditional design theory with the modern design method and the working theory of the compact hydraulic excavators. Find out the discipline of the working. calculate the load of the excavator's structure. Use professional 3D SOLIDEDGE software to create the model of working equipment,frame and swing support.check the assembly and iinterference.simulate the utmost disposal of every case.Farther use MSC.PATRAN&NASTRAN software to analyze structure's strength and rigidity. find out the dangerous point,and obtain the stress nephogram and displacement nephogram. adjust local structure to decrease cost and save resource according to the result .further more we master some displine of similar structure design.By above discuss and combine the analyse result of chapterⅢ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ,we can obtain the optimal scheme and structure.
