There are two main forms of drinking water boiler. One is from boiler room. Although this form of direct use of primary energy, it turns the chemical energy of the minerals into heat, the harmful gases were emitted. The other is use of electric. This approach is clean and fast, convenient and flexible, but it turns the high quality of energy into low, so, it is waste of energy. Heat pump is such a equipment that it can make the heat from the low-temperature environment transfer into high-temperature environment. Although a certain amount of power is consumed, energy-saving effect is significantly. If the heat pump was applied to the drinking water boiler, water was preheated to a certain temperature (70℃for example), followed by electrical heating, you can save a lot of power.Base on the ideas above, this article is focus on the studies of heat pump drinking water boiler, the main research works and conclusions include:1. Analysis that the equipment of drinking water boiler to match the high-temperature heat pump should have the characteristics like: a. Higher condensing temperature b. Compressor and cutting expenditure devices must adapt to the great changes in the status of the drinking fountains.2. Through experiments, drawn different evaporation temperature heating water temperature curve, curve and thermal heat pump heat pump COP curve, then analysis the heat pump operating conditions.3. Investigate the use of drinking water boiler of the teaching building, and calculate the total load of drinking water boiler. Then distribute the amount of heating , thus make sure the amount of the heating of the heat pump. Put forward methods of transformation of the drinking equipment of the teaching buildings. First of all the water tank is divided into two tiers, the upper water was preheated by the heat pump to 50℃, and the lower was heated by the electric heater to 100℃.4. Analysis of the heat pump operating conditions, proposed a "balance" concept, and determine the water temperature is between 30℃and 70℃.5. Finally, put forward several economic analysis methods about the evaluation of heat pump drinking water boiler, and then evaluate the economy of the heat pump drinking water boiler.
