The 0.98Pb(Zr1-xTix)O3-0.02Pb(Sb1/2Nb1/2)O3 (x=0.440.49) (Abbreviated asPSN-PZT) piezoelectric ceramics were prepared byconventional solid solutionmethod. The X-raydiffraction (XRD) and the scanning electronic microscope (SEM)were applied to analyze phases and microstructure respectively. The effects of Zr/Tiand sintering temperature on the dielectric and piezoelectric properties and Curietemperature of the system were discussed. The results show that the tetragonal andrhombohedral phase layin the vicinityof Zr/Ti=50/48, while the best properties apperin the rhombohedral phase side. The optimum properties are obtained withZr/Ti=51/47 at sintering temperature of 1230℃. The ceramic system has a widespreadsintering temperature range and highTc. The optimum properties were obtained withZr/Ti=51/47 at calcination temperature of 900℃and sintering temperature of 1230℃.The main parameters: T33 0=1955, tanδ=0.019, d33=425pC/N, Kp=0.65, Tc=352℃.In addition, the properties of the PSN-PZT system doped by Sr2+, Ba2+were alsostudied. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties were highly improved by dopingSr2+(4%mol, 5%mol). But for doping ion of Ba2+(4%mol, 5%mol), the effect to itsproperties were not obviously. After adding the two ions Sr2+and Ba2+as one dopingagent, the properties were higher than properties by any ion doping itself. Afteradding Sr2+, Curie temperature and sintering temperature decreased and its grain sizeincreased. After adding Ba2+, calcination temperature decreased and its dielectricproperties increased, but piezoelectric properties were not changed obviously. Afteradding Sr2+ and Ba2+, the Morphotropic phase boundary moved to the Zr rich side. The best polarization field is 3000V/mm. The property parameters were listed below: T33 0=2290, tanδ=0.017, d33=495pC/N, Kp=0.7,Tc=298℃.According to the high Curie temperature of this ceramic system, in this paper, theproperties of this ceramic in different high temperature were also researched. Theproperties curve indetified the different limit temperature of different ceramics. |
