The Research Into City Parks' Orientation Systems

With our country's economic developing swiftly, there are city parks mushrooming everywhere. Those large open parks have become indispensable recreation spots in the people's daily life. Nowadays, more and more attention are being paid to how to fully materialize the parks recreation functions, how to provide the visitor with an effective approach to learn conveniently the parks'arrangement of different areas, the connections between these areas, the relationship between the specific spots and the general guidance map to find faster their targets, and how to provide better services to the special visitors like the disabled, the children, the senior citizens and the foreigners.This dissertation's initiative lies in its focus on planning of best tour lines combining humanization and arts. It aims to set up an application system for park guidance designing by combining different fields like the Study of Garden, Aesthetics, and Human Engineering to draw lessons from the existing cases and designing from home and abroad as well as analyzing the designing approaches.
