The core issues of landing gear structure design develop from the initial static strength and stiffness design to how to achieve the long life-span and high reliability and low maintenance cost design a landing gear with long-life, high reliability and low maintenance costs. And the concept of fatigue strength and durability design of landing gear has been introduced.It mainly discuss the economical durability life life and durability-design of Yun-8 nose landing gear in this paper, which provide an operable approach for the later research of the fatigue properties of structural details of complex structure.Firstly, through the analysis of the statics characteristic of undercarriage, elicit the parts with stress concentration to be destroyed,then count the largest numerical value. Secondly process the analysis of durability, for its durability economical life and economy quality.Firstly directly build a model and bring load to bear on Patran,get the point of stress concentration.And then exert the largest load according to the load spectrum, finger out the largest load in dangerous part, in order to provide the numerical value for the analysis of durability.Life-analysis for durability adopt ameliorated method of crack initiation,which has often been used to used in the economical life access for the domestic airplane structure in China, and the result is credible.The artiele gives the conclusion as following: the first first repairing period is 30000 landing and take-offs and the total life is 50000 landing and take-offs.Finally according to the durability design principle we carry durability-design on dangerous party of landing gear to prolong its economical life.
