Because of its advantages by high power factor and efficiency, synchronous motor to be widely used in industrial areas. Particularly, water conservancy, metallurgy, chemical industry is developing rapidly in recent years , the market demand of synchronous motor is great. The excitation system of Synchronous motor is the core components for its normal work. The development of Industra demand the excitation system a better performance ,and demand it has restrictions, alarm, protection, and other functions. This is reflected in the development of digital, intelligent, and it main reflected in the digital excitation regulator and power units.Based on the situation of excitation of synchronous motor in our country, this paper for a brushless synchronous digital excitation system-wide intelligent design. Algoirthms of fuzzy control and neural network have been introduced to the power factor control system of the synchromotor, so as to form the fuzzy-neural controller to force control during its starting stage in the intelligent control of the brushless excitation system of the synchromotor. When the speed reaches its rated value of the motor, the PID controller will activate to force zero error control to bring the given current value to SIEMENS 6RA70 rectifier,which will control the excitation curent of the generator. The combination of fuzzy control and neural network takes full advantage of the specialty which offsets each other to improve the dynamic and robust performance of the system further.The traditional PID control assures no error control in stable.
