Study Of Bauhaus' Industrial Thought

The movement of modernism design, which originated from European, has influenced our human's life in 20^th century, enriched the world civilization, and driven the history forward. Bauhaus, as the most important component of this movement, is becoming the most brillant part with its unique attraction. Bauhaus displays astonishing depth and horizon when we speak of it from the development of the designing thought in a broad sense to the basic course teaching in a narrow sense. Its industrial design, which is based on the knowledge of natural environment and transformation of nature, takes rationalism as a starting point and emphasizes a kind of subjective human discipline decided and controlled by objective materiality discipline. The main body takes Bauhaus' industrial design thought as the study object. Furthermore, this paper analyzes Bauhaus' aesthetic ideology and practice, as well as the effect of its industrial design thought on our country's industrial design system.Taking the development of Bauhaus as clue, the article elaborates the contents, effects and significance of Bauhaus' industrial designing thought combining with the industry situation in European countries. By analyzing its thought together with lots of new problems appearing in our society, the paper aims to combine modernism in western country and excellent culture of our nation to build our own industrial design system. Following them is information society in which we should inherit the civilized achievements that came into being in 20^th century. It is the significance that the main body wants to show.
