Although night landscape is a newly arisen research contents, it has already been an importance constitute parts of city landscape since ancient times. Along with the development of history, The lighting facilities and night life are undergoing tremendous change. Therefore, different periods of night landscape necessarily showing different characteristics. In order to change the present condition, with its own to create a unique urban landscape at night. Ancient Chinese Night landscape development research has become all the more important.This paper based on ancient Chinese night landscape as a major study to the development of time as the main clues. From the "object" that is the development of ancient lighting facilities, from the other "subject " that is the evolution of public's psychological behavior and the space environment on public behavior in night evolution.This paper is divided into three parts, namely the object, subject and the theory of the phenomenon. with the object and subject to the main content.
