Precision guidance has been widely used in modern warfare, as the rocket plume of smoke signal attenuation of the incident will affect the guided missile tracking, and identification for launch detection accuracy, therefore asked the Plume of the incident signal attenuation as small as possible. In order to push for the quantitative analysis of characteristics of propellant, selecting low signal propellant, measuring engine plumes transmittance characteristic is of great significance. We are entrusted to design a transmittance measuring system for the mid-infrared light transmittance by an institute of CASC.Besides the plume of smoke and smog measurement study, this paper proposes a test method, which use the center wavelength of 3.4μm narrow band infrared LED, through single-point transmission mode test Plume transmittance. We propose the overall layout of mid-infrared transmittance Plume Measurement System. The system is composed of two parts: he optical system and the signal processing system. In the part of optical system design, through the researching of the infrared properties of materials, Si is chosen as lens material. Also in this part the structure of infrared optical system design parameters of the process is discussed, and TCOS software is used for system optimization. In the part of signal processing, the LED-driver and the refrigeration manner of LED and PD is described, the signal processing system architecture is discussed. We use synchronous reference signal for the control of A/D conversion, and use the sample and hold amplifier to improve the accuracy of conversion. In the end of this part, the assembly language program for SCM system is presented.We analyze the testing results, and the test results shows that the signal processing hardware system designed to achieve objective measurements. The last part of the thesis summarizes the mid-infrared transmittance plume measurement system, and put forward the direction of further research of this subject.
