Reached the advanced level of the world, home-made magnetically levitated train represents another great breakthrough in the development of domestic hi-speed land passenger transportation. According to the management of magnetically levitated train operated in China, it is very important to design the magnetically levitated train information system for passengers (PIS) .First,the developing situation of magnetically levitated train PIS at home and abroad and the significance of designing PIS with Chinese characteristics are introduced. Then the main work of this thesis is described briefly.Based on the analysis of technical requirements, the technical scheme of magnetically levitated train passenger information system based on Ethernet is proposed. The system includes LED/LCD display sub-system, Public Address systems (PA), closed-circuit television system (CCTV) and emergency call unit (ECU). TCP/IP communication protocol is adopted to realize the communication between different systems. Besides, making use of advanced technology ensures the whole system safety and reliable.After a detailed analysis of the system demands, the application layer specification of PIS is formulated. This specification describes the message format, command code, message code and the executing process. What's more, it takes the flexibility and expansibility of the whole system into consideration as well. Then software development of PIS is introduced. LabWindows/CVI of American National Instrument Company is used.Acroding to the application layer specification,the software development tool has realized the communication between PIS and sub-systems.Last, the development of ECU is introduced. The unit adopts LM3S6965 of Luminary Micro.Company as the core controller and supports. Based on the TCP/IP protocol,ECU realize not only receive emergent calls from the distance but also realize the remote management and triggering CCTV system etc.
