Along with the economy rapidly expanding in China, the demand of the railway transportation is getting higher and higher, therefore the high accuracy, efficiency of railway vehicle's weight measurement is requested. Railway scale is a railway vehicle's weighing installations placed between two rails, which can be divided into static and dynamic railway scale according to the way of measurement. The static railway scale is used to measure railway vehicle stopped on the scale, which has high precision while the measuring speed is lower; Dynamic railway scale can weigh railway vehicle moving under certain speed limit, with higher measuring speed, therefore it has been developed rapidly, but the dynamic scale has higher cost, generally needs to reconstruct the original rail track, so the application situation is restricted. Thus studying on convenient railway vehicle's dynamic weighting equipment has important value. A kind of new dynamic railway vehicle weighting sensor has been designed in this article, it needn't to modify the rails, placed between the two rails by the fixed installation, then it can process dynamic weighing. The MCU C8051F020 is used for the dynamic weighing system, realizes the functions such as signal acquisition and processing, display and print, memory and inquiry and so on. The dynamic weighting system's software and hardware based on C8051F020 are studied. The data processing and precision of the dynamic weighing system are analyzed. With the advantages of light weight, lower cost, easily to install, broad applicable scope, the portable weighting system can be used in railway vehicle manufacturing factory and transportation department.On the basis of the summarization to the railway weighing equipment, this article illustrates the dynamic weighing system overall concept based on C8051F020 and the system software and hardware in detail. Primary contents consist of the following parts:(1) design of railway dynamic weighting sensor;(2) design of sensor signal tuning and system's supply;(3)design of C8051F020 MCU system and peripheral interface circuits;(4)system software development;(5) analysis of dynamic data processing and precision.
