Crank ring-plate-type cycloid drive is a new-type drive possessing practical value. It is proposed after analyzing the merits and the shortcomings of involute gear ring-plate drive and traditional cycloid drive. Because it is still at the stage of studying, its design and manufacture need to be further studied. it is extremely meaningful for mechanical industry to study its dynamics, to analyze the vibration mechanism, to present the measures to improve performance, and to design planetary gear trains with super performance.Based on existing theories, the article have established a design and the analysis integration CAD system, and realized drawing and information unification management, in order to develop the application, the design and the research level of crank ring-plate-type cycloid drive. This system is the crank ring-plate-type cycloid drive CAD system which is developed when Microsoft Windows XP is used as operation system, Client/Server architecture Visual C++6.0 program software as a development tool in the forth, Access 2000 as support database. The advantages of this system are: Microsoft Windows XP has a function of joining a computer with a network, so it has a good safety system; Client/Server architectures has openness, interchangeability and expansibility; Visual C++6.0 has the support of object-oriented technical, it is very easy to realize the application procedure design through the MFC class library; SQL Server 2000 is cross-platform, multi-protocol and has a good compatibility.The CAD system this article developed has four main functions modules: product information module, analysis optimization module, graphic library administration module and user safety and maintenance module. This provides a foundation design, analysis and management platform for the design and study of crank ring-plate-type cycloid drive.Main contents of this paper:(1) Put forward the general CAD system model structure and finished the object-oriented CAD system model modeling process by comprehensive consideration of extension and integration of the system, and the data processing system selects the modular method.(2) Uses Visual C++ 6.0 MFC development working platform, established a class about the table of the database; Uses the C/S structure pattern, utilizes the database administration technology, realized the function of increase, deletes, modification, query and so on ; as well as the function of graphic library and user's management of products'data and drawing information.(3) This system connected to all kinds of analysis program, realized strength analysis, optimized parameter and carried on the analysis to the rigidity, obtained different factors which influenced rigidity. (4) Completed series design in apparent size invariable, and carried on the analysis, the intensity examination, completed engineering drawing of the designed product the engineering plat, preserves in graphic library.
