Since the nation was founded, a large number of hydraulic and electric engineerings have been built in our country. Earth rock-fill dams are adopted abroadly because of it's many merits such as low cost, simple structure, good adaptability, good capacity of resisting earthquake and long life. For earth rock-fill dams wrecking, problems about seepage are very serious, such as slippage, penetrating destroy. So analyzing seepage and stability in earth rock-fill dams correctly is the key guarantee for earth rock-fill dams runing safety.In this thesis, using saturated-unsaturated seepage model seepage field of earth rock-fill dam is analysed by finite element method on the base of large-scale general FEM software ANSYS, and analyzing the problem of general method in sloving spill boundary, that is improved next. Taking account of the the action of seepage, elasto-plastic FEM for stability is analysised based on the technique of shear strength reduction. developing seepage anlysizing program using program redevelopment language APDL of ANSYS, the result is consistent with chi's sand slot experiment, that validate the correct of the program compiled. Compiling the seepage procedure and slope procedure that are represented as interface by using the ANSYS UIDL language, the seepage analysis module and slope analysis module formed will be convenient for common technician engineering-oriented solving problems correlation.On the basis of unsteady saturated-unsaturated seepage FEM analysis of earth rock-fill dam under reservoir water fall and rainfall conditions using the modules, taking account of the affection of suction to unsaturated soil intension, the unsaturated soil intensity and density vary with water containing, and seepage force action, study the affection of penetrative coefficient, rainfall intensity and water fall velocity to seepage field using FEM and stability using shear strength reduction FEM of earth rock-fill dam.This study and method can not only give advice to design and reinforce of earth rock-fill dam for seepage and stability anlysis, but also be used to other styles of dam and foundation drainage and so on.
