The article aims at the problems about the harmonic wave and the restriction strategy which is highly focused during the design and safety operation of the parallel capacitive compensator.on the base of the research,capacity,harmic and the relation between of the reactance rate,and it takes through study on the topic about optimal combination of capacitor and reactor regarding.First,this paper is carried out based on understanding of background,importance and research condition at home and abroad;the capacitor which is the main device of the source of reactive power is capacity.Its access change the charactics of the harmic resistence,under the circumstance of untaken measure or abused,it magnify the act on high harmics,once resonance takes place,the capactor equipment and adjoining devices will suffer serious damnification and even burned,therefore,researching on capacitor equipment and influence between harmonics,taking the restrict measures is the key point about the design and running of capacitor and play a important role in the safety of power grid.second,some relevant knowledge of series reactor and some problems existing in processing harmonics in the design of series reactor are declared,based on which,the principle and target of optimal combination of capacitor and reactor is put out;then,the restriction condition of combination mode and calculation of harmonic comprehensive reactor is further explained;at last,the combination mode is compared by technology and economy,based on the actual projects analysis,the Wujian substation engineering is designed by combination mode above,the engineering improving performance is expressed.Starting from fully playing the comprehensive effect of the reactive compensation and harmonic wave restriction of the parallel capacitor,the article seeks the best combination mode with the minimized capacitor amount of series reactors in each capacitor circuit as target function,and the voltage wave distortion complying with the national standards,the operation voltage and current of the capacitor according to the safety requirement,as well as the satisfaction of the power coefficient as restrictions.With the technical and economic analysis on actual samples,the article explains various optional combination modes to verify that the combination mode with minimized capacitor amount of series reactors is basically the best.Through the analysis on the actual projects in the power system,the article also has accumulated experiences and lessons which can be referred to as the basis of engineering design.
