Hydraulic accumulator is one important accessories in hydraulic systems. Its performance have a noticeable effection upon hydraulic system's resposibility. We study against the diaphragm accumulator, research the theory of proportional valve-accumulator system based on the study of accumulator's basic theory.Forming the proportional valve-accumulator system's mathematical model, we divide the system into five segments, including proportional valve, connecting pipe, filling valve, gas champer and liquid champer, and modelling the mathematical model by mechanism. Then identificat the system's mathematical model with Least Squares. The model which we obtianed supply theory support to the study of new accumulator.The simulation analyses for proportional valve-accumulator mathematical model is finished in paper also. Firstly, accumulator simulation model for assimilating hydraulic impulsion and eliminating pulsatory is established in Matlab/simulink software. Secondly step-function signal simulating to the pressure shocking wave in physical system and sine signal simulating to the pulsating pressure are inputed into simulation model. The effection between different valve port, different charged pressure and different connecting pipe is studied.The result of the theory and simulation is tested and verified by experimental study. We do experiment on the table of artificial load. To control the experimental system, adjust parameter and to collect data on-line and real-time, dSPACE soft-hardware integrated system is utilized during experiment.Under different pressure in gas champer, different valve port and different connecting pipe, we collect large quantity data. The pressure ahead of proportional valve and port of accumulator are detected when there are shocking wave pressure or pulsating pressure in system. Analyzing these press responses and incorporating conclusion of the simulation, the rightness of the accumulator's mathematical model and the effection between different valve port, different charged pressure and different connecting pipe is proved.
