The Research About Slewing System Of CRPPod Hybrid Electricl Propulsion

As a way of electric propotion Podded electric propulsion systems have been used for many years,especially used on the types of ship such as passenger vessels,ice breakers,supply vessels. CRPPod is a branch of Pod propulsion. Because of late start in this field there is a wide gap between internal and external researches. So do some study about this field is very necessary.In this paper, firstly, will introduce the development of electrical propulsion, particularly analyze the advantages of CRPPodded electrical propulsion system .Then make a experiment system. Its control system include computer and PLC. Its implementing agency include frequence converter and a motor . This paper finish the select of hardware and software preparation. According to this system it can realize the functions of the CRPPod' 360 degree dewing, stewing speed closed loop conctrol and the stewing position examine. In the beginning of this thesis , it introduces the development of the electric propulsion ship, then introduces advantages of CRPPod; and it presents theories, instruments and means of the trial also. It explains the principle of the inverter, analysis the composition of the speed control system and the main speed control methods;and introduces the theory associated with the AC motor control system the control-modeand the choice type of them detailedly.This paper secondly sufficiently discuss the PLC control technique and extension accessories of PLC; The design of hardware and software. Via the experiment achieve satisfactory result.
