Waste tires are increasingwith geometric series and the traditional treatment method hasmanydefects.Howtoactualizetheharmlesstreatmentofwastetiresisaquestion,Inviewofthatseekinganewtreatmentprocesshasalreadybecomeanurgentaffair.Some oversea researchers turned their attention to the waster tires optimized concrete in1990`s.Soitisprecursoryandimportanttostudythewastertiresconcreteinthisthesis.In this thesis three kinds of crumb rubber with different particle diameter are used as therubber admixture. Many groups of concrete specimens are manufactured in condition ofdifferent displaced volume to sand with C35 intensity class. In this thesis a series of attemptand study aiming at fabricate technology and completed specimens are done, including thesurface treatment test of crumb rubber, the workability test of optimized concrete, themechanical behavior test of optimized concrete, the finding of intensity class, the volumeweighttestandsoon. The results of treatment test of crumb rubber indicate: Additive in rubber can beremoved by soaking. In this way the cohesive state between rubber and cement mortar isimproved, behaviors ofconcretearealso improved.Theresults ofworkabilitytest ofconcreteindicate: There is a little different workability in different kinds of rubber, which decrease inearlystageandincreaseinlaterstagewiththeincreaseofrubberadmixture.Theresultsofthevolume weight test and the mechanical behavior test of optimized concrete indicate: Thecubic compression strength, the tensile splitting strength, the axial compression strength andthe strength of rupture decreased with the increase of rubber admixture. But there are someremarkable behaviors which is difficult to attain in traditional concrete, such as bettercracking resistance, better deformation property, minor density, retrievable mechanicalbehavior and so on. The intensity class basically reaches C20 when the rubber admixtureamounts 20%. Otherwise it basically reaches C10 when the rubber admixture amounts lessthan60%.
