During the process of the weapon system development, experiment is necessary. And the quality and the cycle of the experiment is the crucial factors in improving the weapon system's quality, shortening the equipment cycle and the increasing the comprehensive function of the weapon. Now the measurement and calculation of impacting point in the sea of our military is based on the optical crossing drawing technology, which is low precise, high cost and weak real-time quality. So a new method of measurement is necessary.Sound wave will be produced during the shell's explosion, which is easy measurement and low influencing by the environment. And the theory and technology of sound wave measurement is matured. So the measurement and calculation on impacting point in the water column coordinates based on the acoustic is feasible. In this method, sound signal can be converted to the digital signal, analyzed in DSP, and the useful signal can be collected. Aiming at the system, the reasonable mathematical model can be established. This method is precise, stability and expanded.A impacting point in the water column coordinates measurement system is designed in this paper. And a method of impacting point measurement and calculation based on the acoustic is proposed. First, the application and technology background of the research is introduced. Second, in the main part, the reality of the impacting point in the water column coordinates measurement system is elaborated, then the error analysis and simulation is finished. At last, the improvement subject is put forward aiming at the probably problem in practice.
