With the demand of the engineering construction development, crane is increasingly display an important function. Currently, in the crane design standard of domestic and international, when we considered the dynamic effect influence to crane structure, not really and directly analysis the crane structure from the kinetics and the dynamics, but adoption the coefficient method. It's said that the structure lifted load or the structure deadweight load multiply corresponds of dynamic coefficient, replacing a really dynamic effect with a static method, that method simple and practical. But for a complicated structure crane, how is the dynamic influence condition on different part? How is the structural dynamic effect? How is the reasonable structure design according to the different dynamic effect? This is a worthy of thorough research problem. Confirmation dynamic coefficient of lifting of tower crane is the most important in dynamics effect of crane. This paper analyzes the reason of introducing the dynamic effect of construction and dynamic coefficient of lifting of tower crane and relativity between them, and its influence to crane structure。Firstly, this paper analyzing and comparing the popular design rules for tower crane and research fruit of other scholars. Secondly, this paper introduces the design process of experimental crane, manufactured and assembled It, Finally, it analyses the dynamic characteristic of experimental tower crane using theory of Finite element. it gets the value about the dynamic effect of construction and lifting to the top-slewing tower crane in five work conditions. On the foundation of the above work, this paper have carry on a dynamic experiment to the experimental crane, and have compared analyze result with theory of Finite element.Dynamic analysis of the tower crane is made by FEM (Finite element method) in the soft environment of SAP84. Study tower crane while it is rising and descending and the condition of loading, especially analyses rising situation in details and put forward a way of how to decide loading time. And compared two kinds of analyze result with other designing criterion to all-around to put forward some suggestions of this field, which can be used in engineering design and also can be used as reference while correct designing criterion of tower cranes.
