Wind is absorbed and converted into mechanical energy by turbine blades,which is one of the most important components in wind generator. The airfoil, distorted style, number and the sharp ratio of blades all have a direct effect on the energy efficiency. The airfoil for wind turbine is so important that it has a direct impact on the launch of wind turbine and wind efficiency. This article discusses the advantages of wind power and the wind power industrial development in China. The key components of wind generator, blades, are in-depth studies.First of all, a model for aerodynamic performance in horizontal axis wind turbine is established, based on the principles of aerodynamics. In this model, not only the tip losses, wheel loss, and cascade theory, but also the wind shear, yaw, the structural parameters and wind turbine installation parameters are considered, which make this theoretical model closer to the actual conditions of the wind turbine. Appling this designed calculation program for a 1.3 MW wind turbine stall regulation of aerodynamic performance, the result achieves good consistency compared with foreign large commercial software, so it verifies the correctness of the model and the practicality of our program.Secondly, the Optimized model of the round for wind turbine blade is designed, in which the wind speed probability distribution is considered. In this model using the genetic algorithm for optimization, the largest energy output is the most important target. Then we design the blades for the 1.3 MW wind turbine with the optimized process. Compared with the wind machine actually used, the results show a clear superiority, which shows the effectiveness and practicality of our optimal design model.In the end, the structural dynamics of optimal design of the blade is analyzed. In finite element analysis software ANSYS environment, the physical models are built, and then structural dynamic analysis is completed after meshed. Here to analyze the vibration of the blade is more important, which is modal analysis.
