In this thesis, several key technologies of impulsive source location studied. It is of engineering importance to detect moving targets. The passive acoustical direction finding methods is the one of the key technologies of the detection system. Based on the current research and main problems, this dissertation researched for impulsive source location. The main contributions are as follows:1,In this paper, An accurate acoustic localization model are studied: random four-element model. The direction theories of the arrays are derived, and their direction accuracy is analyzed.2,Time delay estimation (TDE) algorithms based on frequency domain adaptive filtering and higher-order spectrum are investigated, respectively. (1)The performance of the frequency domain adaptive TDE algorithm is analyzed. (2) A Wiener weighting based frequency domain adaptive TDE approach is studied. In order to improve the performance of the new algorithm in low signal to noise ratio (SNR), a method for weighting the phase data is also given. The effectiveness of the algorithms is evaluated by the simulation experiments on real noise (3) A higher-order spectrum algorithm is proposed. The simulation results show that the method outperforms the generalized correlation method.3,delay estimation algorithm. The simulation results on real data show the new algorithms have better performance.
