Evaluation On Outdoor Environment Of High-Rise Housing

Because of the increase of construction quantity of high-rise housing and the residents'growing request for good quality outdoor environment of residential district, it is significant to improve the quality of high-rise housing outdoor environment. This article firstly studied the rules of residents'outdoor behavior, including different categories of behavior and the people would participate in. After that, on the aspect of how the climate condition relate to the design of high-rise housing district, the paper analized the climate of Tianjin, simulated the lighting condition and wind environment of high-rise housing districts, using the software of Ecotect and Airpak. Aim at examining the performance of different layout of high-rise housing district under specific climate conditions, and discovering how to use their merit to improve good outdoor environment of high-rise housing district.The analysis could help to creat design strategies in defferent conditions of different layout of high-rise housing districts, provide rational basis on the design of high-rise housing and provide reference implement on evaluation. The strategy of this analysis has not been widly used in China, or only used in specific area. I hope this archicle could be useful for improvinf the design of high-rise housing and this analysis method could be introduced to others.
