Water supply pipe network is an important part of water supply system. To master the dynamic working status of water supply pipe network is necessary to managers who engage in water supply career. Establishing the microcosmic dynamic hydraulic models of water supply pipe network is a significant way to realize scientific controlling and management in municipal water supply network. The water supply network of a development zone in north China is the object of the paper. Establishing the microcosmic dynamic hydraulic models of water supply pipe network is the final target of this paper.Firstly, the concept of the microcosmic dynamic hydraulic models of water supply pipe network is explained. And then, the status-quo of pipe network modeling at home and abroad, the necessity and the relative management technique of pipe network dynamic microcosmic hydraulic models are raised.Secondly, the basic information of the pipe network including water source, topologic configuration, basic data of the pipe network, the information of water users and SCADA system is expounded. On this base, the elementary parameters of the pipe network models are analyzed. Correspondingly the node flow and the roughness coefficient of pipes are the main content of this paper.Thirdly, the range of nodal flow is partitioned on the map of the development zone to ensure the corresponding relationship between nodes and water meters. On this basis, an inquiry system of nodal information of the pipe network of development zone based on Microsoft Access is established. Then via the analysis of structure and property of water users the testing water meters of large and common users are confirmed. Then we organized a continuous spot test of 24 hours in one day, and figures of water use pattern are plotted. In this way figures of nodal flow of 24 hours in one day can be plotted by the relationship between nodes and water meters. Above all, the problem of calculating nodal flow in the microcosmic dynamic hydraulic models of water supply pipe network is solved.Finally, for predigesting the independent variables in the optimization calculation different values are evaluated to every part of pipe network which is partitioned according to material, ages and location of pipes and the result of elementary adjustment calculation. Based on hydraulic analysis of water network, the sum of the absolute value of the difference between the water pressure calculated and the water pressure measured is supposed as objective function, the actual pressures of pumps are constricts. The objective function is solved based on the Random Optimize Algorithm (ROA).And a group of simulated roughness coefficients of pipes is calculated, then it is checked under another two working status, satisfying results are showed. It proves that the group of simulated roughness coefficients of pipes accords actual situation of pipe network of development zone. So the results can be used in practice.
