With the rapidly development of social economic, the urban scale is enlarged and the complexity degree of water distribution network is improved constantly. It is important to water industry how to optimize dispatch of water supply system and design & rebuild the water distribution network. In order to realize these objections, the hydraulic and quality operating condition of water distribution networks should be learned accurately and completely at any time.The development process of urban water supply SCADA system is discussed in this thesis firstly. Then, the model of networks' hydraulic and quality operating condition rechecking that based on the field data of monitor points in the networks is deduced in the thesis, through which we can obtain the accurate hydraulic and quality operating condition of networks.Based on the existing hydraulic model and segments of field data of pressure and flow rate and accord to the least square method, the rechecking model of water supply networks hydraulic operation condition is deduced. Meanwhile, the model is computed with the modified GA. At the three conditions of the term of pressure measurement alone, the term of flow gauging alone and both the term of pressure measurement and flow gauging, the rechecking model is used to analysis and compute and the result indicate that the error at the conditions of the term of pressure measurement alone and the term of flow gauging alone is greater than that at the condition of both two terms. At the same time, from the result, we can see that the modified GA can acquire the hydraulic operation condition in the whole networks more rapidly and precisely.Based on the existing water quality model and segments of field data of water quality monitor points and accord to the least square method, rechecking model of water quality operation condition is deduced. At the conditions of different numbers of monitor points, the rechecking model is used to analysis and compare. The result proves that the more the number of monitor points is, the less the error is. At the same time, through the example, we can see that he modified GA can obtain the concentration of residual chlorine at each node in the networks at certain time rapidly and precisely.
