The realistic modeling of beam connections is an important part during the analysis and design of steel frame. The connection character directly affects the total behavior of steel frame with load added. The behavior of beam connections is treated as either pinned of rigid joints entirely in conventional steel frame analysis.These idealized assumptions predigest the analysis and design of steel frame consumedly,but they could induce insecurity or conservative design. In this paper, we consider the precise analysis of connections that could be gained by the concept of semi—rigid and turn spring. Base on the characteristic analysis of semi-grid node. The p—△effect of steel frame is considered and establishes mechanics analysis models of semi-grid node.According with theory of automate produce steel frame safty richness. Establish safty richness equation of semi-grid. We consider the correlation of failure modes and use PNET Method caculate steel frame reliability at the last. By calculating results of several examples for steel frame in semi-rigid joints case show the change of joint stiffness and other kinds of factors affect the system reliability of semi-rigid steel frames. Through compare the result of the PNET Method and Monte Carlo Method, It prove feasibility in calculate the reliability analysis of semi-rigid node steel frame. It is also provided availability reference based on the reliability optimizes design.
