In this thesis, the wind tunnel test and CFD theories were used to investigate railway aerodynamic characteristics, the aerodynamics coefficients of bridge windbreak and of the bridges for NANJIANG Railway under side wind. Firstly, on the basis of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) theories, the aerodynamics coefficients of train, bridge and windbreak for different were computed comparely, then the wind tunnel test was used to verify and check.The main research work and the conclusions are(1) Ascertain the wind characteristics and its parameter for the bridges,(2) By comparely analysis and test, the justified windbreak was acquired.(3) By CFD analysis and test, the aerodynamics coefficients of train, bridge and windbreak was acquired.(4) Safety train working speeds under side wind were studied systematically.(5) The dynamic characters were computed for the bridge windbreak.(6) The limit speeds of trains under wind or the wind velocitys for safety train working were suggested for NANJIANG Railway.(7) The strength of windbreak was check by computations.
