The ATP system based on the Digital Track Circuit(DTC) is the vital equipment for safty and it can increase the train operational efficiency in the subway. This system is the unique moving-like block system which has the self-owned intellectual property rights in China, and is able to substitute the congeneric imported products.This system introduced the train-control system which based on the distance to go control method, we transfer the commands, which came from the Zoom-Control Centre, to the train through the ground DTC. These commands may include the information of the target velocity, the target distance, the tab of the track circuit and the frequency etc. When the motorman drives the train running at the speed approached to the safe velocity, the ATP system will give a piece of alarm information; when the motorman drives the train running at the speed exceeded the safe velocity, the ATP system will brake the train, in order to make sure that the train moving according to the safe velocity.The main work is as follows:1. Through the design and analysis on the track circuit design principles and working principle, includeing the composition of the track circuit.2. Through the design and analysis ATP system, the ATP system on-board design objectives, technical requirements, such as a note, detailed description of the working principle of ATP system, as well as equipment posed. ATP on-board System Interface Design, and other related content.3. This system has designed a continuous speed control mode(the first level speed control), which makes the trains running at the minimum safe tracing interval in the same line.4. This system has implemented a train compute control mode, which gives priority to the vehicle on-board controller, and complemented with the ground information.5. This system achieves the guide line of the moving-like block technique, it has greatly shortened the trains interval, improved the transportation rate efficiently, and meet the great traffic requirement in the urban railway transportation.The success of the ATP system based on the DTC, indicates that the urban railway transportation signals system, which has self-owned intellectual property rights, has became maturity. This system has high cost efficiency, and it could substitute the congeneric imported products, and may brake the monopolistic situation in the railway transportation field that the ATP system mainly produced by overseas manufacturers.
