A new technology of Automotive Industry, Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV),which having characteristics of low pollution and low fuel consumption ,just becomes an international and national focus. Drive motor being a main department of HEV, plays an important part in HEV development. So research and analysis on Drive motor have a great significance.Firstly, this dissertation compared several common electric vehicles performances, summed up the advantage of HEV, and then introduced the technology of the integrated starter generator(ISG),as well as the development at home and abroad .Secondly, the dissertation discussed the request of the motor for HEV, and compared the performance merits of several common AC motors. With high work efficiency, high power density, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) becomes the first choice for HEV drive motor. Later, the dissertation set up a mathematical model of PMSM and analyzed the principle of Vector Control. Thirdly, based on the TMS320F2812,the control system of PMSM was designed ,the design method of software for the system was introduced. The principle of the Resolver and its decoder chip for speed and angle detection ,as well as other important modules ,would be detailed later. Besides, the important subprogram, such as current sampling, location detection and SVPWM etc. would also be detailed.Finally, according to the analysis of the experimental results, some conclusions from this dissertation have been proved. Ideas for future were also proposed.
