The sedimental discrepancy and cumulating plastic distortion will make the road accidented and peel off, resulting in the potholes and craze accordingly, impacting the running quality and using life seriously. We should pay much attention to these problems especially.Based on the analysi of actual study on the differential settlement of widened road, the shortage of these methods is brought forward. Do engineering reconnaissances to the former road, as wellas the local detections, gather the soil stylebooks, do the indoor tests to the soil stylebooks, get the soil parameters. Based on the anterior works, combine with the finite progrom ADINA and ANSYS, establish the sedimentation model of the roadbed, simulate the diferential settlement and stabilization problems, study the distortion and stress, do contrast with the actual value. Based on the analysis result, make suggestions to the design and construction of the upgrading and revising projects.
