| The deepening reform in electricity sector has brought fierce competition and rigorous requirement for construction companies. The safety of operation reflects the staff competency and comprehensive management of the power transmission and transformation company, and plays the key role in competition. In this paper, a safety management system is proposed on the basis of characteristics of power transmission and transformation projects, including the widely used occupational safety and health management system. In addition, with the combination of fuzzy analytical hierarchy process and fuzzy evaluation, an evaluation model, focused on initial security and cite security of construction projects, is constructed, according to the factors influencing the transmission and transformation projects. At the end, a case study of 500KV Chengjiang link project is shown.
