Along with the development of the automobile industry and the extension of the road transportation network,and the safety problem of people's life is caused, and the amount of traffic accidents is increased. The proportion of the traffic accidents caused tire pressure is very high, and this condition makes people concentrate on tire pressure of driving automobile. Tire pressure monitoring technique is valid technique which can decrease the amount of traffic accidents caused by tire pressure.Based on former experiences, the design concept of the real-time tire monitor module grounded on the wireless RF Transceiver CC1100 and ZigBee wireless network communication proposal are brought forward, and a whole design process of TPMS is described in detail, it is proved to be with good performance according to testing.Firstly, the paper depicts the affection to tire when its pressure or temperature abnormal, and introduces the important significance of TPMS in traffic safety and environmental protection. At the same time, the paper makes detailed comparison among the main TPMS design proposal of nowadays.Secondly, the systematic architecture and historic/future development of TPMS system is introduced. The paper analysis the detailed application environment and design principles, then studies all the relevant theories like source coding, RF modulation, antenna and etc. Based on the foundational research, some technical improvement and innovation are proposed, like the identification and re-identification of tires, realization of low power consumption and structure design of both transmitting etc. According to the requirement of the supervisory system, the article analyses the electric circuit of the receiver and the sender module, and fulfills the two module's PCB.At last, the thesis designs the software for both receiver and sender module: as to the receiver, it is focused on realizing its basic function, such as signal receiving, storing and displaying etc. as to the sender module, the paper carries out the signal sampling and sending function, and optimizes the module's energy consumption with the two aspects, while not to affect its real-time surveillance ability.
