Study On Aesthetic Value Of Light And Shadow In Garden

Light and shadow as means of art,has been reasearched widely and deeply in construction,painting,photography and other fields.But in garden the systematic study is lacked.But actually,because of the variety and flexibility of elements in garden designing,light and shadow have infinite charm in garden manifestation,the study of the aesthetic value of light and shadow has a practical significance.Therefore,this paper carried out the following studies:This paper comprises five chapters.The preface describes the reason why study this subject and then expounds the thesis,determines the research content and range,puts forward the research goal is to find out the aesthetic performance of light and shadow in graden,explores the rule of create the beauty of light and shadow in garden and the rule is achieved in the light and shadow planning and designing in modern landscape,hoping to exert an imperceptible influence and initiates the sincerely like of people in the beauty of light and shadow in landscape.That is,perfect light and shadow designs from an aesthetic point of view and creates a integration of light and shadow and harmonious living environment.The second chapter studies deeply in the oriental classical aesthetics,philosophy, culturology and historiography,describes the aesthetic experience and characteristic of light and shadow,points out the shadow is the necessity of human living space,to learn the aesthetic significance of shadow is helpful to a better improvement of urban environment,the maintenance of natural ecological balance.And points out that in the study of aesthetic value of light and shadow in garden should stress the role of the shadow.The third chapter concludes the aesthetic performance of light and shadow in graden as natural beauty,functional beauty,conceptional beauty,demonstrates various aesthetic appearance of light and shadow.Points out that the art manifestation is not only in colorful appearance,the real art is a natural light design,thinks that light and shadow are function methods,they can decorate and affect the shape,color and space of landscape architecture to make them more colorful and perfect,and makes the beauty of artistic conception as the highest aesthetic in garden light and shadow designing,the artistic conception form of garden light and shadow is divided into the beauty of the doughty male and the tender female.The fourth chapter by applying the viewpoints and results developed in this research,and combining the example of The Reconstruction Design of Ying Garden,put forward the design principles that should be grasped in planning and designing of garden light and shadow: making good use of references, partition,expressing complexity by briefness, making every single site be meaningful and interesting.The fifth chapter is a summary of discussion on the subject,points out the obscure polysemy of the understanding in aesthetic garden light and shadow,precisely suited to express the poetic essence of the sensible exist of the world in people's hearts.It is in this intertexture of rational and sensible,people established the harmonious with the outside world.
