With the development of modern science and technology, information has become a trend for the management of construction and operation of Large-scale water diversion project at home and abroad. The mutual integration of computer, information and water technology makes modernization changes of scheduling control and operation management for Large-scale water diversion project. As one of the foundations of water information and modernization building, the continuous development of hydraulic measure technologies has played an important role in the promotion of this transformation. It has become the important link and indispensable technological means for hydraulic measure technology to gain the data in the water conservation information technology. At present, with the increasingly progress of hydraulic measure technology and equipment, many technical problems required by their own importance and complexity of large-scale water diversion project which is in the construction and planning have be solved step by step. Because the modernized hydraulic engineering requests to realize the dispatch control and the operational guidance automation, as a part of the water conservancy projects automation, the tasks which is providing the essential data for the project automatic control and the operation management was undertaken by hydraulic measure system. The pros and cons of running directly related to the safety, Stability and the efficiency of the whole project. Therefore, for many water conservancy scientific researchers, it has become an urgent problem to carry on a specialized study for the operation of hydraulic measure system.Taking the running practice of hydraulic measure system of Shanxi Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project as an project example, with visual programming technology and database technology, beginning of the establishment of the data analysis model, we programs data analysis software to analyses the operating status of hydraulic measure equipment and the data of whole system. On this basis, exploring the establishment of the operation management mode of hydraulic measure system of Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project. The content is as follows:(1) Based on the deep research on the operating status of hydraulic measure system of Shanxi Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project, combining the design and operating characteristics, this paper analyses the actual working conditions of the various hydraulic measure equipment, and provides some reference proposals for equipment selection of similar large-scale water diversion project.(2) Through building the regression analysis model based on the online transaction processing technology (OLTP) and the multidimensional data analysis model based on the online analytical processing (OLAP), according to the data analysis, the overhaul way of hydraulic measure equipment can be changed form regular maintenance to state maintenance. At the same time, the model gives the operation trend forecasting of distribution system and the provision of technical basis for management decisions.(3) In accordance with the Analysis of hydraulic measure system operating conditions of Shanxi Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project, Combined with the project management system, this paper explores the operation management model of hydraulic measure system based on new concept so as to enhance the efficiency and give full play to the basic role of system in scheduling and automatic control.(4) Using a strong interface, object-oriented visual programming tool Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 database technology, we developed the data management software with friendly interface, strong function and reliable properties.This paper focuses on the research of data analysis model and data management software. The next step should be to strengthen the applied research on data warehouse and data mining technology in the hydraulic measure data analysis.
