The Research Of Original Urban Texture Evolution

Urban fabric is an important form of urban conformation which is accumulated in long-term history, and related with the formation and development of town. Urban fabric is carrying the precious historical information of human social, economic and cultural activities and imprint of a long course of time in history. Therefore, the analysis of urban fabric is an important method of urban studies.The article bring forwarded the concept of "original urban fabric "based on the analysis of series argument about "fabric", "urban fabric". And by the comparative study of different urban fabric, using the related concept of genetics, this paper analyzed the generating factors, type, features and evolution rule of "urban fabric". Paper selected "San Yuan" in Shan xi Province as the main research object, summed up three kind of mode of the development of the urban fabric about the small and medium-sized towns: agricultural economy model, the planned economy model, the market economic model. Further, the paper explored the evolution rule of the 'original urban fabric".Finally, the article bring forward the accidence advice about way of the continuation of the original urban fabric in San Yuan, and hope to produce restricted directed effect to the development of urban space of San Yuan, and to produce reference effect for other cities.
