| Nowadays more and more people are easy to be dysphoric and restless because of accelereated pace of life, too heavy pressure from work, exercise deficiency and so on. Accordingly the number of insomniac has greatly increased. There are many kinds of instruments for insomnia therapy, but few of them can be effective.In recent years, being benefited from combination of research on dormant brain wave and electronic technology, a new technique which has been proved to be valid for insomnia therapy is developed. Utilizing low frequency pulse and tailor-made electrode placed on skin, it can stimulate certain points near to the brain and take effect on ganglia to improve dormancy situation, which is similar to needle therapy. Based on this method, the electronic dormancy curer which can be used for dormancy quality improvement and insomnia therapy is developed. It can also be used as a pulsimeter and thermometer to detect the user's physical situation simultaneously.The hardware circuit of this design is based on the microcontroller PIC16F877A which has ample compositive peripheral resources. With the help of software design, pulse transmit, real-time body temperature and pulse detection, keyswitchs operation and LCD display are implemented. Acquired data is analyzed and processed instantaneously. The user can set therapy mode and pulse intensity freely and be aware of temperature and heartbeat situation conveniently.Pt100 is used in temperature measurement circuit and in heartbeat pulse detection circuit, a piece of piezoelectricity ceramic which has rather high precision is used as pressure sensor. Through system debugging and experiment, it is proved that theoretical uncertainty agrees with that of experiment result and the system has achieved original design demand. The electronic dormancy curer has been developed successfully. It can improve dormancy quality and cure insomnia effectively and be of great commercial foreground. |
