Building is the product of climate. However, with social development and scientific progress, we gradually weaken its climate adaptive thinking in the design of modern architecture. Chinese traditional houses with good climate adaptability, in-depth study of traditional houses climate adaptability features, discover valuable technical measures and ideological concepts of today's ecological building design will be of great help. Based on residential areas northeast Manchu studies mainly from the following components :First introduce the Northeast climate characteristics, and then introduce the Manchu custom residential and living. It can be seen from this Manchu residents arose to resist bad natural climate. The formation and development of climate change are inextricably linked to environmental impact.
