Earthquake simulator shakers table is very important equipment, which is used in the earthquake engineering. According to people's demand, It can either imitate earthquake wave or carry on a certain and particular vibration. By taking the structure model respond, after likeness converting, it can be used as a prototype under the true earthquake of reaction, which is applied to carry on the research of the structure anti-earthquake measure and shock absorption and the measure to avoid shaking perhaps. With the development of miniaturization and precision of physical structure models, both middle-power and low-power shaker tables have been more widely used than before. Domestic earthquake simulator shaker tables were mainly taken hydraulic drive, which have caused serious pollution and high construction costs, moreover, the existing earthquake simulator shakers table by motor drive were mainly from import, which cost high and were in poor controllability and low open. To solve the problem, by using the technology of controlling servo motor, a set of servo motor driving earthquake simulator shaker table, which has characteristic of widely open and low cost, was designed in this dissertation. The research of system design and shaker table performance and earthquake wave reproduction were carried on in this dissertation.Mechanical and control system for the shaker table, according as the design indicator, have been designed in this dissertation. The design of optimization PID controller was finished by using Matlab. Finally, the optimization PID control effect was achieved and validated by test of step response of shaker table.Using the results from sine response tests of the shaker table, the performance veracity of the development shaker table was proved. Based on the three experiments of servo amplifier, which was in modes as follows, position control by differential input, rev control by analog voltage gain, torque control by analog voltage gain, the system accuracy of the shaker table in position control, and the conclusion that servo motor rev and torque are linear changing as the voltage change, which provided references for the choice of voltage compensation during the debug for the shaker table, can be certificated. Based on the sweep experiments for a civil standard Benchmark shear model, the sweep superiority of the shaker table was approved in this dissertation.To truly reproduce earthquake wave, the three original Benchmark standards earthquake wave have been scaled, which overcome the faults of traditional acceleration integration method and ensured the consistency in frequency field before and after scaling. Finally, it is suggested that double loop, both position and acceleration and the latter one was the main one, is the best control method to use in reproduction earthquake wave. The reappearance of earthquake wave tests were successfully carried on the shaker table, which fully demonstrated the high precision of the advanced development earthquake simulator shaker table, it has set foundation for the further application and commercialization in practice.
