During the rising stage of the rocket, the satellite may endure high static load in virtue of the rocket's high acceleration. In order to ascertain the static load's influence on the satellite's structure and operating condition, acceleration tests should be done to the satellite to simulate the static or quasi-static acceleration inertia load in the emission stage. This load must be considered first in the satellite's structure designation.This text mainly researches the principle and methods of using the sine-burst excitation to substitute static test and centrifuge strength test. By analyzing the structure's response to the static signal and the sine-burst signal, the proportion between them is got. The sine-burst signal is a frequency stated sine signal; its waveform can be enveloped by a trapezoid and its mirror-image. Firstly, the response to sine-burst signal should be analyzed theoretically according to the pulse response function and convolution integration in order to get the relation between the responses to static signal and sine-burst signal. Secondly, establish single-degree of freedom system and multi-degree of freedom system, and then research the responses to the excitations. Thirdly, setup a beam model using PATRAN, by static force overloading analysis and sine-burst transient analysis, the beam's stress response to quasi-static overloading and sine-burst signal. Fourthly, use PATRAN to analyze the satellite's stress response to the quasi-static overloading and sine-burst transient signal. By comparing the result, the satellite's response to the quasi-static overloading and sine-burst signal can be got. At last, the flow sheet and notices of sine-burst test is given according to the sine-burst test which was done in NASA and BISEE.Through textual research, the feasibility for the sine-burst test to replace the static test is verified. This text also introduces how to do quasi-static test on the vibration table, it gives some experimental parameters such as test frequency and level of the sine-burst test to get the same equivalent effect as the static test, and fills the gap of the satellite's static test.
