The Paraquat is a quick-acting, touch-killing, and life-destroying herbicide. Its main material is smack and oxidize CH4.It is a chemical product composed by NaCN using as a catalyst. During the production process, varied material being compounded under certain percentage and strict temperature control is strictly required, thus to ensure the quality of Paraquat produced. The compound and temperature controlled process is a large inertia, non-linear and time-varying complicated controlled process, so it is hard to set up a fairly exact mathematical model.The fist chapter of the thesis introduces the background and significance of the project, the production craft of the Paraquat, the characteristics and difficult points of the control system. The second chapter introduces the producing craft process of the Paraquat. The third chapter introduces the principle, the composition and the characteristics of the fuzzy control and expert auto-tuning PID control. The fourth chapter introduces the design of the Paraquat production automatic control system, engineering implementation and the application of AIFCS field-bus control system in the project. It also introduces Xiamen Yudian AI intelligence instrument, AIFCS field-bus control system and the design and realization of both the hardware and software of the control system. The AI series artificial intelligence regulator integrates PID control, self-learning and fuzzy intelligence control technology. It realizes the function of auto-tuning or adaptive PID control. The application in practice shows that the real-time system controlled by the regulator has the excellent qualities. For instance, the oscillation of system is strongly restrained, the settling time is shortened greatly, and the system has no static error. In addition, the ability of anti-interference is good. The precise temperature control during the production is realized and the robustness of the system is improved. It also obtains a rather good control effect. AIFCS field-bus control system based on AI intelligence instrument is successfully applied to the Paraquat production process and has already brought a remarkable economic benefit and social benefit for the enterprise.
