Especially plate type elastomeric pad bearings have much trait , for example, simple conformation,credible capability,easiness of installing and replacing and low price , so especially plate type elastomeric pad bearings are broadly used in city and high-way bridgeThis paper firstly introduces the bearing-development,using-actuality and researching-direction ,and quotes new method and theory of bridge-aseismic design,and proves that bridge bearing are very important to bridge structure in aseismatic capability. Presently plate type elastomeric pad bearings have much problem in several part ,such as bearing designing and choicing , bearing producing , bearing installing ,bearing sampling and testing , bearing maintaining . This paper bases on examples building of tianjin high-way and city bridges and then cites correlative criterion and shows several emphases on bearing designing and constructing , and analyzes much problem on bearing designing and choicing and testing, and think out method to slove matter . Finally this paper finds measure to slove bearing disease and proposes some measure to bearing maintaining, expatiates construction technique of replacing bearing through lifting continuous beam bridge.With systemic studying to several part of plate type elastomeric pad bearings, we affirm significance of bridge bearing and advise different technical manager to strengthen job of quality controlling, and constantly improve level of bridge construction.
